Born and raised in California’s San Joaquin Valley, Edward S. Hazard and his family are California oil and gas royalty/mineral owners. Ed is one of the founders of the California Chapter of the National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO-CA) and currently serves as its president. His background is in agriculture, banking, finance and real estate management/development. Ed is a licensed California real estate broker and a Certified Minerals Manager (CMM).
Currently residing in Bakersfield, California, he manages his family’s royalty and mineral interests. He is the owner of California Energy Associates (CEA). As advocates for California energy, CEA provides political and strategic consulting services to various sectors of California’s energy industry.
Ed is a member of many community service, non-profit and trade associations. He currently serves on the board of directors of the following organizations:
